Abstract:
In this paper a structural analysis of femur using Finite Element method is presented. The whole processes is described, starting from polygonal model generation based on CT data, trough construction of CAD model and mesh generation, to defining the loads and material properties. In order to accomplish those tasks, CAD software CATIA and the FEM software PAK have been used.
