Editorial
Journal of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics is the official journal of the SERBIAN SOCIETY FOR COMPUTATIONAL MECHANICS (SSCM), member of International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) and European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS).
The Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics was founded during The First South-East European Conference on Computational Mechanics (SEECCM 06) held in Kragujevac, 28-30 June 2006. At this Conference the participants enthusiastically decided to establish the SSCM on June 28, 2006. We here present the original of the founding document, prepared at the meeting by Professors Onate and Papadrakakis, and hand-written by Professor Manolis Papadrakakis, with signatures of the participants. The document specifies the basic aims of the SSCM.

Editorial Board of JSSCM is pleased to inform the public and future authors that Journal of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics has been selected for coverage in Clarivate Analytics products and services. Beginning with 2017, this publication will be indexed and abstracted in Emerging Sources Citation Index.
